Infantino - Sash Mei Tai Baby Carrier
This is our go-to carrier. Our son is a year and half, and over 30lbs, and we still carry comfortably in our mei tai. I love how easy to it to get on and off. I can easily loosen the ties to lower him to my breast for nursing. My son loves to nap in his mei tai. Because there are no buckles to adjust, we easily switch users. This carrier is great for front and back carrying. We love the hood when he falls asleep or just needs some shade.
The straps were long and i constantly stepped on them because It was too complicated to get the baby in with just one person. I didn't feel like she was too secure once she was in it, either. I loved the design and all but I returned the item. I never bought another one because baby wearing just wasn't for me or her
This was my first baby carrier and I love it. My daughter was born a little over 8lbs so I wore her straight from birth. Babywearing is the only way to go! The straps and overall carrier was very comfortable and customizable so my husband an entire foot taller than me, felt just as comfortable when carrying our little one. The other thing I love about it is how small it can fold and tuck away. You can easily keep it in your stroller basket and use it to breastfeed in public with ease and added privacy. Best carrier for baby wearing on a budget.
This is a great carrier for a first time babywearer like myself. I absolutely love this carrier for outtings. I don't wear it much when I'm home, I prefer my Moby wrap to get things done at home and it's a Hassel to use the moby anywhere else and that's were the sash mei Tai comes in. it's super easy to put on. I excited to try the back carring position. I definitely recommend this product and definitely recommend finding someone local baby wearing group. and if you live in tucson,AZ join the Facebook group "tucson babywearers".
Love it! Can not say that enough! So versatile and hubby and I can both use it. I'm a size 8 and he's a size (mens) 40 and this carrier works great on us both. Back carry takes a little bit to master but once you get it down, it's a breeze. I used this to carry my 8 week old around the Houston rodeo and he was so cozy the entire 6 hours. I still use it now and he's 13 months old!
I began using this carrier when my daughter was six months old. It worked well for a few months, but then my back started hurting. This carrier is great for the price and a perfect short term item...but if you want something that will last a while and provide great support..sadly this carrier wont be it. I do love how it's adjustable and I did find it easy to put on!
This is the 3rd carrier I bought, and I must say... Awesome! My 5 week old loves it. Not only is this adorable, but it's comfortable, and easy to get on as well. Our last carrier, had way too much fabric that I felt would drag on the ground as I tried to put it on. It was thick and hot. This is the opposite. I love it. We only bought it 3 days ago, but my 15, and 13 y/o have mastered how to wear it as well.
I hated carriers with my first child with my second child I knew I needed something to have my hands free so we bought this and I love it! No back pains baby fit beautifully as a new born and still fits in it perfectly as a 15 month old. She takes naps in it and I can actually get things done with out feeling like my back is going to snap in half lol. Love it!
This was an amazing carrier for my daughter when she was a newborn, it cradled her nicely and I liked how it was cool enough for warm weather but the ability to wrap a blanket around her when it was cold. Since she's gotten older and bigger I can't find a way to wear it that is comfortable for her, she's nosey and likes to see everything so she's not at all interested in facing me but forward facing isn't an option. I'm not giving up on it yet and I would still recommend it to my new mom friends.
We have this one for my 2nd kid. For me it was hard to use, specially because I was brestfeeding but I noticed that my husband was good using it. It was easy to strap and use and our baby or toddler were good and comfortable at it. Good price and good product.
