Product Description

Dom Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio) is a skilled thief, the best in the dangerous art of extraction: stealing valuable secrets from deep within the subconscious during the dream state when the mind is at its most vulnerable. Cobb's rare ability has made him a coveted player in this treacherous new world of corporate espionage, but it has also made him an international fugitive and cost him everything he has ever loved. Now Cobb is being offered a chance at redemption. One last job could give him his life back but only if he can accomplish the impossible--inception. Instead of the perfect heist, Cobb and his team of specialists have to pull off the reverse; their task is not to steal an idea but to plant one. If they succeed, it could be the perfect crime. But no amount of careful planning or expertise can prepare the team for the dangerous enemy that seems to predict their every move. An enemy that only Cobb could have seen coming. see more...

I recently got to watch this movie again after some 5 years and I understand it much better. Di Caprio plays an excellent role, as always. The plot manifests violently, with plenty of jumping back and forth from one level of dreaming to another. The theme refers to planting thoughts into someone else's mind without them being aware of it - aka mind control. Great movie!

This is a great movie but I think the first time you watch it you miss a lot and it leaves you confused. It is interesting enough to keep your attention but you really should watch it two or three times to really be able to understand how deep they actually go into the plot. Once you fully understand this whole movie is so amazing and will blow your mind!

This movie was really good with great actors. I have watched this movie multiple times and enjoy each time. I love that it was unpredictable and the action just kept coming. You cant go wrong with Leonardo DiCaprio. I would highly recommend this!

I had to watch this movie twice to understand the concept, but once you find out what happens it's like wow! I love it and the music was amazing. A movie that makes you think and Leo is phenomenal as always! I would watch again

This is hands down one of my favorite movies of all time. The depths of the character development and the thoughtfulness of the story are so well done. Great ensemble crew.

Definitely another twisty thriller. I actually think it's pretty easy and straightforward throughout this film to see what is happening and where it's happening (reality, dream, dream within a dream, dream within a dream within a dream). There are some subtle details about the plot or action that could be more fully explained, but basically you should be able to follow and understand the gist of everything that goes on. I think "Memento" is probably a slightly better film, although I gave that 4 stars, also. A lot of this comes across like one of Hitchcock's more adventurous flicks, or a Bond flick, with people skiing all over the Alps or wherever, being chased by bad guys. That sort of business goes on and on here. But the interesting characters are really what make this worthwhile. I don't know that this film asks or answers any particularly deep questions about reality or experience or life, etc. It's just a good movie.

Definitely a great movie. But also a movie that confused me a little. It had Leo so it was a must watch. Definitely a great movie with cool affects. Definitely recommend watching if you want your mind a little confused.

This movie will mess with your mind. You get the idea that you can create new worlds just by imagining them. It's hard to believe that maybe one day we will be able to enter each other's dreams like this. You almost didn't know what was happening until the very end and even then you had a hard time processing what was reality and what was fake.

There truly is no movie like this. The story is full of so many plot twists. The imagery is stunning and took my breath away. I love the cast of Leonardo Dicaprio and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. I would recommend that the movie should be watched twice because it is very easy to miss important plot points because of the fast pace
