I avoided this show for a while, simply because I thought "Here we go, another zombie show." I really like "The Walking Dead" so I expected it to be a bit like it. I watched an episode that aired after "Doctor Who" and I found that it is nothing like TWD, the only similarity is the rotting flesh and that is where the similarities end. It has a darkness/sadness to it that reminds me a lot of the original BBC version of "Being Human." The show is well acted, well written and it has an interesting plot and story line.
This is actually not a "scary" zombie TV show, it's more about humanity & what if you 'reborn' back as a human. It's totally different than "The walking dead" or "The Z nation". If you are looking for excitement of zombie killing/ chasing, then i guess this is not the best fit.
A good show! it sounds like it's going to be super gimmicky from the concept, but it's really not. superb acting all around. first season is especially powerful.
Honestly one of the best show's I've seen out there in a while. Deals with sensitive topics like drug addiction, suicide, hate crimes and prejudice but executes it extremely well. If you have some free time you should definitely give this show a watch and tweet #SaveInTheFlesh to hopefully get it renewed for a season three!
This is an amazing show! Seriously hoping it gets renewed for a 3rd season. Deals with rehabilitating zombies, as well as romance and many other aspects. It's definitely worth the watch!
