This fish tank is perfect for a beginner just starting out. Whether that's an adult or a child, it's a 1.3 gallon. This tank has enough room for one fish, artificial plant, and rocks. I got my tank Petco. It's very easy to maintain once you get the hang of it. I would clean the tank out at least once a week and change everything out. Other than that there's nothing to it.
