With a name like Wild Rose (Ultimate Mauve), I thought I’d get a color with more purple color. However this is more earthy, with much more brown undertones than purple. I have warm skin and gray hair. Purple colors are great for the hair but don’t always look good on my skin; they can look harsh. So the added brown helps balance the competing tones. I have sensitive lips and this is nice and moisturizing and is comfortable to wear. It’s not long lasting but that’s what happens when you get moisturizing formulas.
