My bookshelves are from ikea. They can carry a lot of weight and can be nailed to a wall to prevent it from tipping over. Besides books, other items can also be stored on the shelves.
Seriously. So many items in our house are from ikea. I personally find assembly no issue and rather quick to do... But I guess after assembling an ikea kitchen, a makeup vanity is a rather small task! While they're not top of the line furniture, I've personally had no issues with longevity of the items. Compared to furniture from say...The Brick or Leon's, I'd always rather go to ikea for new furniture purchases! Sometimes it's just fun to look around the show room and get inspired for decorating ideas!
Whenever I move into a new home I go to IKEA to get the little finishing touches. Candles, vases, blankets, bedding etc. Some really lovely unique items at great value. I've had the same blanket that I bought 3 years ago that still looks as new. And a vase that has survived 4 moves without sustaining even one chip. The bedding goes bobbly eventually but that is after nearly a year of washing it every 2 weeks and with it being priced at no more than £15 for a king size set, I think that is great value.
Great quality stuff! Honestly I wasn't expecting to write a review for IKEA so I'm a little confused, especially in the makeup section. I mean everyone loves IKEA though! Meatballs 👌🏻
Man ikea will always have a place in my heart. Since I was little we used to go and follow our parents around Ikea while they did shopping for the house and as kids, me and my sisters would just run around and have fun in the warehouse style rooms, or we would pretend we owned the fancy rooms. Now when I go into Ikea, I tend to plan for the future and come out with a lot more furniture than I ever needed and probably more than normal but it's just so cute and handy and reliable, not to mention affordable!
I have used their side tables, curtains, dressers and their organizers!! They are always of good quality, totally worth of their price. They even look great in any kind of room decors
