Love IKEA! Such a great selection of products for small spaces and big spaces alike! A great place to shop if you are a student, condo owner, or just starting out. I love all departments and how they set up mini rooms to show you how you can easily set up furniture! Would give it 5* if they would bring an actual store to Durham Region.
IKEA is one of those "must-see stores if you are not from around the DFW area. I have family that comes in to visit from out of town and they love to go there every time for the sheer novelty of it, plus the products are pretty innovative, too. The style of most of the decor and furniture doesn't fit my "traditional" style of decorating in my home, however the organizational products, bedding, and a few other products are wonderful and I go back for more!
Although the flat pack design can be daunting once you get to grips with it your good to go. we recently purchased some beautiful light shades and lamps that created a beautiful ambience in our home and something so simple can have such a striking impact on your home amd lifts it. They were very affordable and easy to fit in. would defibately recommend
We had the new mega-IKEA built in our city a few years back & I love it. All the displays are always fresh with new design ideas to steal & modify! I also love the usual food I have come to love (DAIM its so good) but the fact that they are now licensed to sell our local craft beers makes me so happy. Always affordable, the modern/staple pieces are so fun to mix with the items I thrift or create! IKEA for life.
I bought a white bookshelf from ikea. I bought it to put my makeup on display for my makeup room, and it's perfect. It's really sturdy, really good quality, and fits a big portion of my products on the shelf. It has a place the shelf can be screwed into the wall on the back and that way it's safer and won't move. It was money well spent
Sometimes the products form ikea are super easy to put together and other times it's rocket science. There's no inbetween here. My fav purch from here would be my night stand beside my bed. I put it together myself in 10 minutes. The store is very confusing and big and I would recommend leaving a bread crumb trail to find your way back out!
I LOVE Ikea!! You can find so many affordable household items here that are cute and trendy, but also can be used for inexpensive DIY's and transform simple pieces into high end looking decor. I would highly recommend IKEA to any new home owner or someone who has recently moved out on their own for endless idea and cute, simple decor.
Most, if not all, of my furniture will at some point be from IKEA. I mean really...the price, the quality, the guilty pleasure of Swedish meatballs...nothing better. My husband and I make multiple trips every year, since the closest one is about 4 hours from where we live. That's probably a good thing though - we would be there constantly if we lived closer
Most of the furniture in my bedroom is from IKEA, and it's all pretty good! Ikea make relatively easy to build items of a good quality, decent price, and it all looks good! I have a shelving unit from here and there are so many coloured boxes to put inside the shelves that are really good and inexpensive! First choice for furniture
Ikea is great for getting the basics to fill your home on a budget I and many of my friends and family members use Ikea frequently. I have bought everything from tealight candles right to pieces of furniture from a Ikea and a friend of mine recently bought a beautiful canvas for her living room which only cost her £30 and it was huge!
