I always go for igora colourants and activators/developers. They are by far my favourite and the best I've used. I tend to opt for a lower percent to reduce the amount of damage but I've never really experienced anything awful with them every higher than this! The consistency is runny enough to get a good mix but not too runny that it goes everywhere too!
