My family are huge fans of this franchise and the newest installment is the best one yet. It’s a bit more difficult than the past versions, but I’m always up for the challenge. It kept us busy for at least five hours.

I do like the detail that goes into these murder mystery games, the little props with hidden notes add a very special touch (and a little trinket that you can keep afterwards). The storyline was pretty good and it was fairly challenging to figure out. They gave a QR code to provide any hints as well as answers for each clue. My only issue with this specific case, is that no matter what my friends and I did we could not correctly decipher the notes. I’m unsure if ours was wrong or maybe we just couldn’t figure it out, but even looking at the answer key on how to solve it nothing seemed to match up. Other than that, it was a great experience!

My teenagers were not very interested in the game. They said it was too difficult and they didn’t want to read all of the instructions. They prefer games that use a lot of common sense.
