Anyone feel like the movies grabbed their attention more than the books? I couldn't even finish book one. I got really bored with it

I think it is hard to get into the books when you have already watched the movie. It ruins the suspense since you already know the outcome.

I think both the books and the movies are very well-done, but they have different strengths. I usually prefer books to movies, because it's easier to immerse yourself into them.

I enjoyed the books a lot more than the movies. More detail, and a way to use your imagination!

I enjoyed the books waaay more than the movies. They're a lot more detailed. I have ADHD and still get into them. Reading makes the experience more solid or so I feel.

I completely agree with you! I read all of the books, but it was difficult. The times when whether or not to kiss the boy was the biggest debate seemed very bizarre (though I guess I forgot that they were young adult books). The movies were a lot more interesting

Well at one point in the first book you do get bored but you have to keep reading! sometimes they do that so once is gets exciting, it super exciting sense right before it was boring and btw no offense but the first movie kinda sucked and I watched the movie before I read the books btw

No I got totally sucked into the books, although I think the movies seem to be staying pretty close to the books :)

The books are way better than the movies, read all 3 in a week. This was before there were mentions of a movie, the movies are great as well but nothing beats the books

No way. The books are so great. I've re read them twice since the movie came out. And they only get better as they go.
