Huda Beauty Matte & Metal Melted Shadows
BY HUDA BEAUTY
The velvety-soft matte shadows bring a richly saturated color pigment that is both easy to blend and build by finger or using a brush. The powder finish holds oil absorbing properties that help keep the product in place longer without creasing or fading.
The metal shadows bring quick-dry properties to a high-class glitter formula ensuring a smudge-proof, shiny and sparkling finish. Lightweight and easy to apply, the paintbrush-like applicator allows for precise application to control the glitter intensity and is perfect for liner looks. The metallic formula dries down smoothly to ensure your eyeshadow look is fit for whatever fun you get up to!
Suggested usage MATTE:
Apply product on centre of lid, then blend out with finger, or brush to work on the edges and blend into crease
Can be used as a liner, either by using edge of the doe-foot, or by swiping the formula on back of hand and picking up with liner brush of choice
Can be used with powder eyeshadows layered on top.
Use paintbrush-like applicator to apply as a glitter eyeliner, or all over lid to deliver optimal pigment.
For a shimmer effect, blend the formula with a brush or finger to diffuse glitters.
Use as a glitter topper over the matte formula or over any powder shadow
Create a shimmery cut crease or highlight the inner corner of the eyes using the applicator.

Huda Beauty Matte & Metal Melted Shadows
This color comb is beautiful! The matte shade truly is MATTE. It is definitely a product that I would recommend to you a little at first and to build it up if you need to. I made the mistake to apply a good amount on my lid and the next thing you know my whole eye was cover pink lol. I dries super fast so apply and the. Blend blend blend! The shimmer is a little chunky or can become chunky. It’s kind of easy to do a wing liner with it. It since it can be a little chunky I feel like that make it a little hard. I think the matte color work fine when you use other powder shadows on top. I also concealed my eyes before I put this product on and it seem to go on just as god if you don’t conceal first. If you want to keep the matte color and not thin it out so much I would pat it down and bend softly with a fluffy brush. I definitely have to play with it more but I definitely like this product. I received this product complimentary for testing purposes.
Got this to try for free from Influenster and I was kinda disappointed. This isn’t necessarily an awful product (the shades are gorgeous and it’s a nice idea), but overall I guess I just don’t think it’s any better than my usual shadows and liquid eyeshadows. The matte side dries quickly so you have to blend pretty fast (doesn’t budge once it sets.. good or bad thing depending on how you look at it) and it wouldn’t build up in certain areas for me which I thought was weird. The shimmery side dries down pretty clumpy but the brush applicator was nice. DONT TRY ADDING MORE OF THE MATTE ONCE YOU ADD THE SHIMMER.. I tried and it made the shimmer come off and crumble on to my face. Also - I’ve seen people try to use this on top of set eyelids (primed lids set with powder) don’t do that.. the liquid isn’t going to work well! Overall, pigmentation was good and the shades were gorgeous.. but I just don’t think I’ll be reaching for this because of how weird the formula is.
Used my Huda Beauty matte and metal melted shadows today that i received complimentary for testing purposes. These shadows are soo good the pigmentation is on point easy to blend out and they are buildable. Very quick and easy if your in a hurry but can also be made into a glam look. When i used them i also added a light brown NYX shadow in my crease and topped it with my soft glam palette to add some depth in the outer V. It did take some work because the shadows didnt want to stick to the Huda matte shadow but in the end definitely worth it. My look lasted all day without the shadows creasing or fading. I am soo interested in trying out the other colors because these were a big hit for me. #hudabeautymeltedshadows #contest #complimentary @shophudabeauty @hudabeauty @Influenster
I love the dual-ended bottle with two different formulas. At one end a richly-pigmented, velvety matte shade, and at the other a glittering shimmer formula in a stunning complementary shade. Matte formula – dries to a waterproof, powder-finish which has oil-absorbing properties so it stays in place without fading or creasing for 12 hours. The doe-foot applicator makes application easy, while it also has a defined edge so you can use it as a liner too. The Metal Shadow – A glittery formula with a quick-dry finish. Has a tiny paintbrush-like applicator makes it super easy to use it as glitter liner, create a cut-crease. Love the way is design you can take it with you anywhere. I really love it can wait to try the other colors.
I received the “private key & shimmering sunset” shades. And Let me tell you I was pleasantly surprised. I absolutely loved the matte shade. So creamy and blends beautifully. The shade itself is highly pigmented but if you needed to you can build it up. And the metal shade was just as beautiful. It’s quick dry formula like it sais. So I didn’t have to worry about the metal transferring. And it’s also highly pigmented so one application is enough. Which is something I was paying close attention to. Overall great duo shadows. Makes for an easy 5 minute eye look! Loved it. I recieved this product complimentary. And would definitely purchase some of their other shades! I recommend this product.

Review for: Wednesday/Fro-yo more...
I reallly wanted to love it but it’s just a no I do have to go return mine. First the positive was the matte honestly it’s fast drying so it’s better to work in session!! I just wished it was more of a a baby pink when it dries but it’s more of a muave pink. Look cute. So the the metal really burned my eye it also dries out so fast looked patchy a ugly!!!! Plus it irritated the eye and I’m not that sensitive so, if you are sensitive don’t get this one!!! I used it as an eyeliner put then again you can’t layer it. It just builds up dries up breaks up not cuteeee at all. Definitely would not recommend love the concept I just hate that it dries up and that’s why! I’m returning mine.

I love this product it was sent to me by influenster to review for my honest review it is a duo creme liquid to matte shadow stick perfect for eyeshadow or winged liner. The matte shadow is AMAZING!! It dries down matte and it dries down fast so you have to blend it out with a fluffy brush one the crease and than once it dries pat over the shimmer on the lid. The shimmer did pick up the matte shade and it was harder to work with but not too hard honestly Im going to buy these I love them I want the purple duo and green duo too because this is beautiful waterproof makeup great for working out, a fast job makeup look that is pretty long lasting and date night ready makeup. This is so versatile and affordable I think every girl or woman should have this in their makeup bag to go and have a few at home.
I received this product in a VoxBox and was surprised at how much I loved it! First, I applied my eyeshadow primer then applied a couple dots of the matte shade. I was a little nervous about how this formulation would blend because it seemed a little sticky. However it blended beautifully! I just used a regular crease blending brush. Next, I applied a few drops of the metal shade and spread it out using a flat eyeshadow brush. I really loved how you could build up the shimmer. You can just apply a little of the metal shade for a subtle shimmer or apply more for a bold cut crease look! This has definitely become one of my favorite products. The only thing I don’t like necessarily is the price. I think I would have a hard time buying just one of these for $25. #complimentary #contest
I was a little imitated when I first used this. I never worked with a liquid eyeshadow. But I got advice on how to apply it. It easy to blend out and very pigmented. The packaging was beautiful and it didn’t feel cheap. The price point I believe was 29$. But it’s not that bad it is a high end makeup brand . The shimmering sunset shade was very beautiful. Probably my favorite part. It was kinda duo chrome it had pink at certain angles and bright gold at other. I would recommend people try this out. Especially if the never worked with a liquid shadow. I did receive this free for testing purposes.
I received this for free in exchange for my thoughts. Let me start off with the positives - the color is beautiful, and the pigment is definitely there. The applicator is nice and the packaging is super sleek. Now for the negatives. I’d say I’m pretty good when it comes to makeup, so when I applied this it dried down and was very uncomfortable... it looked super cakey, and when I went to put eyeliner on top of it, it peeled right off. On top of that, my eyes started to burn so bad I had to take it off immediately. I’m not sure if it was a user error on my end, but my eyes clearly did not like whatever was in this product. Not sure if I would recommend or not, but if you’re into trying new things, go for it
Q & A
Are these easy to blend out?
Do these crease on anyone else? I tried one and the matte side was fine, but the shimmer side was very crunchy and it wore off all in my crease and looked so bad.
Thoughts on these eyeshadows? Are they worth the blending out and drying time?
