I use HP for my laptops, desktops, & printers because they have been very reliable. The price isn't overly expensive, even after the cost of cartridges or refills. I'd give them 4 or even 5 stars if they would fix or upgrade the quality of parts used in the scanner portions. I don't have to use it often, but the gears, which are made of plastic, fail after only a year or two. Luckily, I know how to take them apart because it sometimes is just an alignment issue, but it's been something that has failed repeatedly. It's inconvenient when it happens because the flattop & the auto feed will not work when it happens. I can hear the gears stuttering, attempting to move, and I know it's time to adjust/align things.

This is honestly one of my favorite printers to use. It’s a Bluetooth color printer and it comes in handy so many times. The color aspect is really nice since we get a free package every time we get low for colors. Best printer I’ve bought yet.
