This tofu substitute is great for the summer because it's refreshing and only 20 cals/serving with 2 g. fiber! One pack will probably stave off hunger for an hour or two but I would recommend at least two packs for a regular meal. These noodles do smell fishy when you first open the package but the smell quickly goes away if you rinse them under cold water or boil them. The texture is chewier than regular noodles and without any sauce or seasoning, the noodles are very plain-tasting. However I still like them! The fettuccine shape is my favorite. It's versatile as a pasta substitute or in soups.

I really like these. They don't really have a taste so you can add your own touch with them and they absorb the flavors and taste great!

I love to use these to make a protein packed vegetarian pad Thai. They take a little prep though. Rinse thoroughly to get rid of that odd fishy smell and parboil, then dry sauté to get rid of their slimeyness. Then have at it! A great alternative.

Pretty good on the shirataki noodle
Scale. They smell fishy but can be fixed by dry cooking on stove in pan for a few before using. They are very chewy so I wouldn't recommend with actual marinara sauce.
