I purchase a Murphy wooden dining table, 4 matching Murphy dining chairs and a Murphy dining bench in ' Natural '. I really loved how they looked on the website of House Beautiful and the same pictures in a magazine thereafter. I thought it would look perfect in our home as our over all theme is cool natural toned wood vibe. To our utter disappointment when all the items arrived they were absolutely nothing like the website / magazine pictures; we received very warm toned, almost orange coloured wooden dining table chairs and bench ( and a lot chunkier rather clumsy looking than the pictures as mentioned above ) - a very country cottage 80s look - not what we thought we had bought after viewing the the pictures on the website. We immediately arranged to have them sent back and a refund of which I must say was not an easy straight forward process either - quite stressful actually. House Beautiful are completely and utterly misleading their customers by presenting pictures of furniture that have been obviiously photoshopped to look nothing like what they are really selling! I honestly do not understand why they would do this, because myself as a customer will never ever want to purchase from them again as I distrust what they say their furniture items look like from the pictures on the website and the magazine. I will also be advising anyone I know not to purchase from them either. so yes, don't bother buying from House Beautiful as they do not have correct representation of the products they are selling and you will end up with something of at least an entirely different colour to what you think you are buying and then you will have to go through the drag of getting them returned, with all the items in your home for around 3 weeks.

I always.try to.keep myself updated with all the latest house decorating trends. So this magazine is very helpful. Lots of great tips and photos of ideas. Highlyrecommend if you love to decorate your home often
