It's pretty outdated, but that's part of it's charm if you're interested. It's been home to countless writers, musicians, & artists. On the morbid side, Nancy Spungen (of Sid & Nancy fame) died there. On more positive notes, On The Road & 2001: A Space Odyssey were both written there. It's mostly long-term residents now. You stay for the history, not the accommodations. Not sure of the current state of hotel rooms (they had closed for renovations a while back).
