I haven’t used many curling irons, but out of all the ones I have used, this would be my favorite. I naturally have curly hair, and I’ve heard people say that it doesn’t keep the curl intact, but I never had that issue. It’s also pretty affordable! I bought mine at ulta, and they have a bunch of different sizes as well.

Ok guys, this curling iron is so cool, it’s not your average curling iron and you can set the iron to low or higher temperatures that will make your experience ALOT easier to get through. I recommend this to everyone who is more experienced with a hot tool. These get EXTREMELY HOT SO BUYER BEWARE(be very careful)! I would be reluctant to get this for a teenager unless they are already skilled with working with a professional flat iron or curling iron. I will say it’s one of the best! And I recommend this 100% without a doubt!

When i need I get and I get perfect curls every single time I use my hot tools curling iron. I have multiple sizes because never know when i want volumus curls to simply just waves. The temperature is amazing and they heat uo so fast, ready for the times you are on the run.

Purchased this curling iron for my sister as I already had one of my own. I decided to purchase this item as it was utilized on my hair after visiting a hair salon however after trying the iron on myself I was not able to achieve the same results as previously seen and what I expected. Perhaps it was the fact that someone had first done it for me and now I was doing the curls on myself. A pro is that the iron heats up to maximum temperature in under sixty seconds and my hair was not damaged after utilizing the curling iron.

I absolutely love this curling iron. I have purchased multiple hot tools products and I could t be happier. The 1 1/4 inch is the perfect size for bouncy curls that aren’t too tight or too loose. This has lasted me for years and I will repurchase the day it stops working!

I have always had hot tools! They lost forever, are super affordable, and make the prettiest curls! I love these curling irons. They work well with any style hair and don't damage your hair as bad as others in my opinion.

I will always use hot tools. This brand lasts FOREVER, and works so well on my hair. You can control the temp which is good for different styling and knowing what temp is good for your hair type. Will always recommend!

My favorite curling iron on the market. I’ve used just about everything and this is the one I have happily settled on. A low heat setting provides wonderful and beautiful bouncy curls! It’s quick and easy to use and gives the most beautiful curls without pulling or ripping your hair. I love my hot tools curling iron!!!

My hair is thick and coarse at times (depending on the brand of shampoo I'm using at the time) and this works great! I use it in combination with Tigi Bed Head Hard Head hairspray. I lightly spray it on, set the curling iron at its highest and curl away. I then spray again lightly over the finished curls and only run my fingers through once my hair has cooled off. It's the only curling iron that has worked on my hair!

I would recommend the one inch barrel as well as it will be difficult to see any curl definition on short hair if you go bigger. Anything smaller will make your curls even tighter and not give you the bigger curls you want. You just plug it in and set the temperature you want for the iron, wait a few minutes for it to heat up, and then start curling!

I've been looking for a new curling iron for some time now and have heard a lot of good things about the Hot Tools brand and was just wondering how this curling iron performed. Did the curls stay put all day? Did the hair become frizzy at all after curling it because I seem to have that problem after I curl my hair.

This is a very decent curling iron for the price. Hot Tools is a mid-range brand, not the best but definitely not the worst. I have this iron and have had it for about a year. I'm expecting it to stop working any minute now, none of my irons from this brand last longer than 2 years. The ceramic barrel is nice though, it disperses the heat evenly and helps to smooth the curls. Best bang for your buck, but don't expect to have it forever.

I'm a long time user of hot tools, but I haven't used a purple one (only gold!). I'm looking for a new one as mine have gotten a bit squeaky and don't close as well... how are these different as they're tourmaline?
