This rug pad really holds onto the rug! One side is almost like velcro the other is rubber. It doesn't move around on the floor. Works even better on a smooth surface. I was able to cut it to the right size for my rug too.

I’m so impressed by this rug pad! The gray side is a super grippy Velcro-like material that grabs onto your rug, and the back side is a black rubbery layer that holds the floor. I put it in a really high traffic area right by my front door and the rug hasn’t budged an inch! I also was able to cut the rug pad down a little bit to fit my rug, so you can do that if you need to!
