There's nothing good to say I stayed at the econo Lodge it smelled like roaches black mold I want a refund Hoppers say no the nastiest room I've ever been in I sent pictures in and everything and Hoppers still say no talk about the facility does not agree to give me my money back I will be on every review site on the internet I will call channel 2 News so it will be broadcasted never use hoppers again I'm not understanding why they say that the hotel don't want to give my money back when I paid them I didn't give my money to the hotel
Booked a flight through Hopper. Then 1 week out got an email to notify of flight change. Informed them that flight would not work, please book me onto the earlier flight. Back and forth emails whilst on holiday thinking they have finally worked it out. Got to the airport to check in and realised the haven't done what they said the would. I've now been emailing Hopper back and forth for almost 2 months to try and get my money back. This company is a joke, everytime I get someone different replying. I can't find a phone number to call anywhere and I have asked multiple times but they keep ignoring my request.
I had used Hopper several times for hotels as I am an independent contractor and stay away from home for months at a time, On the last occasion, I went all the way to the end, to swipe to pay, then came a pop up window, saying that the price was no longer available. I tried to re reserve my room, but the money had already been taken from my account. It is now 6 days, I cannot contact them as there is no reservation to connect to customer service from. They have $450.00 of my money, and I cannot get it back. My bank is doing everything it can, but this is unacceptable. They do not seem to exist, I cannot find them ANYWHERE. Id sue, but cant do that unless you can find them. DO NOT USE THIS APP EVER!!!
Even though I have been charged for ‘VIP support’ (I am fairly sure I declined this feature) I sent a message requesting help for a price freeze question before my stay, I was informed they would get back to me in 12 hours - this didn’t happen and my question remained unanswered. I will NOT use Hopper again and will actively be telling other to avoid it also. Over $30 in a tip and for ‘VIP support’ biggest rip off ever!!
My name is Tom and I had a wonderful trip planned and used Hopper for the flight and car. My airline changed my flight, and Hopper continued to give me the original date of departure, which was wrong. Because of this, I missed my flight, and had to spend 2,000 to reschedule everything. They refused to help! Even my flight home was now cancelled so i had to buy all these flights, then my car was also gone and i had to pay for that! I arrived exhausted, tired, and broke. My vacation was absolutely destroyed financially and all I did was stress the whole time. I even had to pay to ask for help!!
Stay away from hopper! Hopper uses pop up offers like “Price Freeze” to trick their customers into thinking they’re getting a deal, when actually on a secret terms and conditions page in the fine print it mentions these offers and non refundable and you lose a deposit by clicking them. This information is not clear when you get tricked by these pop up offers and its VERY easy to fall into this trap if you have your card loaded into your account, just an accidental click of a button driven by a very confusing discount/limited time offer and BAM you just gave hopper a non refundable $100. I spent days trying to get with customer service to get refunded with no avail. This is a bs website, there are no live customer service agents, phone calls don’t go through to any department, crappy automated response emails from fake names. Hopper has refused to refund me, I have NEVER come across a company that refuses to put their customers first. Funny because if they had refunded me, I likely would’ve still used their service, but now I will NEVER return as a customer and I hope this review helps and warns a lot of others to stay far away! There are plenty of good reputable travel companies out there and Hopper is certainly NOT one of them. I was robbed.
Hidden charges. Ended up paying $300 more than originally quoted. They don’t seem to care at all and I assume it’s because they have my money and there is nothing I can do at this point. Quoted in CDN funds but card was charged in USD. Don’t use this app.
Rated 1 out of 5 stars I will be reporting this company to BBB… I will be reporting this company to BBB and also sharing my experience on all social media platforms. As a business you should not be charging people just to speak with a customer service representative. When emails are sent requesting help, your application platform makes it very hard and difficult to navigate. Your prices are much more expensive including discounts and carrot cash. I’m my opinion, your company is a new age scam and should be band from operating in the U.S. I am very disappointed with your practices and hope that someone makes a change before everyone loses their job in your company due to incompetence and greed.
Beware!This is absolutely the worse experience I had. Yes you can use it to find flights but I don't recommend booking using hopper. I just tried to make a reservation for my flight and was given an error numerous times. I have pending charges for over 8000 dollars for transaction that never was processed egg mean I can't use 8000 of my available credit for a week at least and I had to go purchase my tickets elsewhere and charge another 2000$ to have a booking complete. Never again I will attempt to book through hopper. Let time and aggravation only! Just use it to get a clue what airline to buy from.
i downloaded the Hopper app. went thru all the hoops to book a two-person round trip flight. after completing full scope, Hopper added $180 PER PERSON saying something went wrong. Went directly to the airline, booked SAME flight for the initial Hopper offering. will NOT be going back to Hopper except to find out flights. then i'll go directly to the Airline in question. Thanks for little, Hopper.
