I’ll start with a downside of this carpet and upholstery cleaner this seems like a common issue with this brand because before this I had another model from Hoover and had the same problem the trigger for water and solution on the upholstery brush gets stuck it used to work well when I press water comes out and when I release it stops right away now it sticks and I have to press it with force it’s annoying and since it’s been over a year I bought it at costco I can’t exchange it anymore overall it cleans great carpets furniture everything there is a built in system that sprays water when you push forward and dries when you pull back which is convenient the machine itself is very heavy and noisy I give it a solid 4

This is probably has to be one of the best carpet cleaners i have ever used! I absolutely love the smart function it has on it. You don't have to pull a trigger at all when you push it forwards to make it start dispensing water. I love the easy button for smart drying feature. It's very easy to clean and it doesn't take up much room in the closet for storage!

I have found that this machine can be used to lightly dampen the carpet and suck up the moisture and refurbish the carpet back to standing tall like it is new. It has nice suction and doesn't leave the carpet wet so much even if you have to go over it a couple times. It gets the water up and the dry only button comes in handy to get extra water out of the carpets. The handle not locking in place is not a hindrance to using the machine as it seems to be well built to stay in place while using it. Doesn’t make much noise. I would recommend this to anyone elderly who doesn't want to hold a trigger sprayer the entire time while shampooing your rugs.
