I have owned this Hoover Power Scrub Carpet Cleaner for a good few years and had to unfortunately use it more than I would have liked. We have 2 cats that often throw up or occasionally drop a piece of poop on our new carpet. This carpet cleaner has always been reliable and does excellent job not only shampooing the spots but picking up the dirty excess water. I feel confident this leaves the carpet like new on the microscopic level. I have also used this on my upholstered chairs and our couch. This hoover does come with additional parts that helps with cleaning upholstery and I'm sure glad for that. The soap for this is widely available and reasonably priced. I would recommend this one.

What an absolute beauty of a carpet cleaner! I have always paid annually for my carpets, rugs and upholstery to be professionally cleaned and with this Hoover that is no longer necessary. The machine isn’t too heavy and you will have to fill multiple times depending on how soiled the surface is however it’s truly a worthwhile investment that you and your rugs will enjoy for many years to come.
