I have my golden on this food because of course she has allergies, and it does seem to help with the itching some. I'm not sure if it completely stops it but I have been able to go further apart with her allergy shot than what I used. Yes this is not a cheap food by any means but if you can afford it and you have a dog that has bad allergies that affect the skin I highly recommend giving it a try.

Quite a costly food and honestly my dog didn’t like it. His coat did flourish on the food but I had to swap as he started dropping weight. Now I use a normal hills mature diet with skin supplementation. Would recommend if your dog enjoys the taste though
