It had been a few years since I’d had the highland Gaelic Ale until again this past weekend. It was a great value, and local to NC, so my boyfriend wanted to have it. It wasn’t as good as I remembered it being. Almost had a slight maple taste, which wasn’t my favorite for this beer. I didn’t hate it, but I’m not sure I’ll be buying again anytime soon. 

Very strong flavor. If you like a very... bitter taste, go for it! It's better than most beers I've tried, but is a very, very strong after taste.
