This retinol makes my face feel like satin, especially when I put it on at night and wake up the next morning. It doesn’t take very much to cover my entire face. I like the way it smells and it doesn’t feel too heavy. In general, Hero makes quality products . I love how gentle and hydrating this is (which is hard to find in a retinol product). I've been using for around a month now and my skin has cleared up drastically. There was a slight purging period, but that is to be expected with a retinol product.

I’ve been a die hard for differin gel. During the pandemic my skin went CRAZY and differin was the main thing that helped clear it. Flash to today and suddenly differin seems to only dry out my skin. Came across this product and decided to use it as a moisturizer over differin to keep my skin hydrated. It has done wonders and my skin is no longer dry and flakey yet stays clear. I know I’m using this product differently then the recommended way but it works amazing for me this way. I would say this would be an amazing starting retinol but only if you have very dry skin. If your typical retinol that works for you is drying your skin too much try adding this on top and if needed another thick moisturizer. Works wonders
