Going into fall and winter, I usually dye my hair different hues. I always worry about the color washing out quickly. With this shampoo and conditioner set, I don't have to worry so much. It lasts a little longer than usual shampoos and conditioners. Winter always means dry skin and that could lead to dandruff as well. With this conditioner that moisturizes the hair, it also leaves my scalp feeling healthy. I don't have to worry about dandruff so much.

Full disclosure, I do not have or have I had dandruff, so it is difficult for me to speak to the effectiveness of these products for that purpose. As I mentioned in my review of the shampoo my husband claims to have dandruff, and has used the shampoo for the past thirty years I have known him, and in that time I have never seen flakes. For reasons I do not understand, Head & Shoulders makes my hair so incredibly dry. My scalp feels fine, but I have never had or rarely have had dry or tight scalp. I love the light rose scent and new packaging. My husband's thoughts, he feels he does not need the conditioner, my thoughts, it wouldn't hurt him to condition.
