Classic board game fun for all ages. It's been more than 60 years since families first discovered Chutes and Ladders, the exciting climbing and sliding game. Children learn counting and number recognition as they travel along the gameboard to get to the top. Land on a good deed space, and a ladder will race you ahead. But watch out for the chutes that can send you back down! Chutes and Ladders is a classic game that children enjoy playing over and over. This version combines the gameplay you've come to love with fresh, vibrant colors. 2 to 4 players. Ages 3 and up. see more...

My 3 year old son loves to play this game. The way the board goes is a little hard for him to understand. He loves going up the tall ladders and counting the spaces.

This is a classic & for good reason. It practices counting & is a great tool to talk about early math concepts.

Alright, so I have to say, I do like this game but it's not the best version out there. My children enjoy it, as do I but here's the thing... If you have young children, they will have difficulty playing on their own. The squares are smaller than the base of the markers, and the arrows that point which direction to go aren't exactly clear. Even if your children can count, some numbers are at the top of the square and others are at the bottom. This makes it difficult for them to be sure which square they are supposed to land on. As long as I am there to help them, this version is fine, but if you're looking for a little independence while you play, you may want to consider a different version than this.
