I was gifted this Hamilton Beach Contemporary 2 Slice Toaster in exchange for my honest review. This toaster is great for my 2 adult no children household. It's durable and manufactured well without being overly large, bulky, or heavy and goes nicely in my space limited kitchen . The bread openings are thankfully wide enough for thicker sliced bread items such as Texas toast and the bagel button option is a nifty additional feature. So far, the only negative thing I've experienced is regarding emptying the crumb tray. It is very much needed with a toaster, but with this particular latch setup, it is a bit loose and on the flimsy side. I wish it was more secure in fastening and keeping closed. Because of this, the crumbs slip through more often than I'd prefer. All in all, its a upper middle of the road toaster, suitable for moderate to regular use including admirable amenities.
