I’ve been wearing Mitsouko since I was 13 years old (yes that’s right I’ve been wearing it for over 40 years) and it still holds a special place in my heart. It’s been reformulated more than once, but it’s still Mitsouko and it’s certainly the most exquisite chypre fragrance ever created. The bottle alone speaks to its care for its history - a delightful deco dream. As for what’s inside? It’s alchemy. Bergamot, Peach, Rose, Jasmine, Oakmoss… all the notes come together in a glorious evocation of beauty and allure. This is an eternal fragrance. Timeless and forever beautiful.

Mitsouko Eau de Toilette / Eau de Parfum by Guerlain is a fragrance for women, launched in 1919. The top notes are: Bergamot, Citrus, Jasmine and Rose. The middle notes are: Peach, Ylang Ylang, Jasmine, Rose and Lilac. The base notes are: Oakmoss, Spices, Cinnamon, Vetiver and Amber. The difference between eau de toilette and eau de parfum lies only in the intensity. The second is much stronger, which is why I prefer to spray it on clothes otherwise the smell of alcohol prevails.

Pour ma part je n'ai pas aimé l'odeur beaucoup trop forte et je pense destiné aux femmes mûres. La bouteille est superbe cependant.

Warning: this is not for wimps! Mitsouko is something your grandma may have put on before going to a swanky event, but it is by no means an old lady scent. It’s a rich, peach-infused Chypre that wears for hours and it’s not gentle. This perfume makes a statement as much now as when I first wore it over 30 years ago. I revisited it recently and got at least six hours out of one spritz. Wear it like you’d wear a fur coat and tiara.

Ce parfum a une fragance chypre fruité. Il a un côté mystérieux qui lui apporte son originalité ! Je le trouve plutot équilibré et surtout original. Mitsouko mélange une note fruitée de pêche aux fleurs de jasmin et de rose de mai. Le fond mystérieux de la fragrance allie des notes épicées à celles de sous-bois et de vétiver.Un vrai régal se parfum et surtout original qui tien absolument toutes ses promesses. Je vous le recommande !

Ce parfum. N es pas dans mes préférer je dirais qui irais mieux à une personne âgée à mon avis j aime pas l odeur mais une chose que je peu dire ces qui tiens tes longtemps

Mitsouko by Guerlain is such an incredible perfume. A mix of classical, feminist and luxurious scent. I originally bought it due to the myth and story behind it, heard that the movie: "Perfume: The story of the murderer" was inspired by this bottle, and never expected that it would have such an amazing smell! You might think at the first spray that it can be a bit too old and too classy, but just wait for its second layer scent, it is incredible! EDT but the smell stays all day! Definitely my favourite and recommend to anyone who loves a warm, classical and mature scent.

My absolute favorite fragrance,! I have used this fragrance for years, it's a go to for me, I get many compliments when I'm wearing it and I found out it was a favorite of the actress Jean Harlow. I love the fact that it's not overpowering and you don't have to use much, I also layer the scent by using the body cream and shower gel. I recommend it to anyone who wants to wear a classic scent.

Forget basic sweet florals and boring woody air fresheners, Mitsouko makes a bold and confident statement. The name meaning 'Mystery' from Japanese, truly evokes the spirit of this scent. It's been worn by famous trendsetters of the 20th century, both male and female and continues to wow the noses of today. Go and try it out!
