I bought this because I had purchased it before but I do not like the new formula and I returned it. I bought it from sephora. It use to work really well and filled the lines in on my lips. This was an expensive product so I don't recommend it
An extra, and costly step, that is recommended under lipstick--especially reds. I find that it changes the color of the lip a bit, and leaves a dry feeling. I felt like this was a product that should have been left in the late 80's/early 90's. I prefer to find a formula like Guerlain Rouge G that has a built in primer.
The packaging of this product is absolutely gorgeous, it makes you feel like such a classy lady. I applied this before my lipliner and lipstick and it has a very moisturizing feel. I also noticed some extension in the wear time of my lip products. The only criticism I will say is that for 44$ I'm not sure if the function is quite worth the hearty price tag. Perfects and smooths all the exciting lines on the lips, gives you a velvety texture that would make any lipliner lipstick to glide on easier and show its natural colour while looking more plumed, smooth and fresh, this product makes your lipstick to last longer and it keeps it from bleeding around the edges
Liplift does a good job as a primer under most lipsticks, and prevents feathering or bleeding into fine lines. I wish they had made it a clear formula instead of a fleshy tone - it isn't opaque, but does tend to drag on drier areas.
