It's a classic cologne. Extremely citrusy in the opening. Its light so you will need to overspray it. Longevity is as expected for a eau de cologne +-2h

This is a remarkable blend of refreshing citrus: lime, mandarin, orange, lemon and a fine blend of herbs like sage, rosemary and mint. It is a morning eau de cologne, that really gets you up. It's also fantastic to invigorate the senses.

I've worn and loved this unique old world, old school scent for 40 years, and it's never inappropriate. For those of you who complain it doesn't last more than 10 minutes, get educated! A good quality cologne does not blast its scent like loud music at high volume continuously. It will fade over time and is meant to be detected by others at very close or intimate range. This is subtlety, this is quality. Unfortunately, most younger people are used to modern colognes with synthetic bases that walk into the room before the wearer, and that's just overbearing. I don't care if the cologne is super expensive or sold by a top design label, there are a lot of crass scents out there, and if you have to share a cubicle or subway seat with someone who wears one, you will appreciate a cologne like Guerlain all that much more. Another timeless old school recommendation is Eau Sauvage by Christian Dior.
