6 reviewsWhat a ripoff! I got this for my three year old son who wanted a red Mohawk for his birthday celebrations. I thought "hey, it says it dries fast, easy to use, washes out... What could go wrong?" well apparently a lot. First of all this stuff smelled horrible. Not even kidding, it smelled very chemically even though it's just hair pomade. Second, it was a very dry texture and was oddly flakey so it fell out everywhere while putting it in his hair and was not at all easy to work with because of that fact. So after we put it in, we brushed it through to make sure everything was covered. The color of the product was NOT the red tone we thought it would be and even upon first glance out of the package, it looked more like a dusty rose color and building it up on the hair didn't really make the color any brighter or more pigmented. The transfer issues started pretty much immediately and never stopped. The color, while it says it dries down, never did, it kept a weird moistness to it all day, even after we tried blow drying it. The color got on my floor, carpet, his clothes, his skin, his car seat... Literally everything. This was by far the messiest temporary color pomade I've ever used. My son got compliments anyway, because people done normally see a three year old with a red Mohawk but it definitely wasn't at all what we wanted or expected. I'll never buy products from this line again.
Does not show up as truly red on darker hair. More of a pink. Make sure to comb soon after applying if you want a softer look or the beeswax in the product may harden.
This is such a fun product to use when you don’t want to commit to one hair colour. I like that it also has the feel of a texturizing balm, so you can use it to style your hair. Smells nice too
