Product Description

Generation G. It’s a new kind of lip color that gives the look and finish of a stain, but that glides on and wears like a tinted balm. Because lipstick shouldn’t complicate your look. Premiering in four important shades designed to look amazing on everyone: two that subtly enhance your natural lip tone, and two for a more saturated look. The effect? Diffused, sheer matte goodness—just swipe it on. No liner, no blotting, no YouTube tutorial necessary.

I like this product. I have the shade crush, which is a bright pinky red. It’s not a full coverage lipstick, more of a popsicle stain, but it truly lasts awhile because it stains your lips. It’s a really pretty wash of color, although it is matte so it will accentuate your dry lips. Put on chapstick before you apply this!

I bought this shade on a whim because I love the idea of a just-kissed lippie. I honestly think that Colourpop does a better job at the blurred lip formula. Jam is a beautiful shade, but I have to swipe on 3 or 4 layers before the color actually appears on my lips.

I am not a lipstick person, but I like these lipsticks. They are much drier than my other lipsticks, which I really liked because there is less risk of it transferring onto teeth/outside my lips/coffee mugs/etc. The color is pretty long-lasting. My favorite aspect of Gen G is that they are so buildable - both shades I have are super bright (Zip is a bright red and Jam is a vibrant berry) if applied several times over the lips, but a quick swipe gives a subtle pigment that is perfect for daytime. It's a really versatile product.

I love Generation G in cake and it’s a my lips but better color. They are just a light touch of color but it’s so perfect for that natural look. The smell isn’t that great but it doesn’t bother me after I put it on because it fades pretty quickly (the scent).

Really love this lip color. It’s a nice more than sheer, less than full coverage look. It is between a crayon and lipstick in consistency and goes on fairly smooth and doesn’t smudge easily. The only thing I don’t like is that it seems to dry out quickly.

This is my everyday go to for lip color! I love that it’s hydrating and adds a little pop of color at the same time! Anytime a product can be a two in one I’m sold and this lipstick is no exception. You can also give your lips as little or as much color as you want because it’s super buildable!

I've been looking for a product like this for years. I wanted a lipstick I could wear everyday that looked natural but still a little pop. It's so natural looking- it looks like it's my real lip tone and I just happen to have a perfect lip color.

I absolutely love this color! I gave it four stars only because the payoff wasn’t as much as I anticipated. The comfort of the lipstick and the color make up for the payoff though. Great price point and love the packaging! I’m looking forward to trying the other shades.

My absolute, all time, completely and very favorite lipstick. One coat of the stuff is a nice little stain, and you can layer it for super intense color. It lasts pretty decently although I do need to reapply every two or three hours. At least it wears really nicely as it fades.

If you do not apply enough of this product, it will leave an appearance of low pigment, and a more smeared “ I just ate and icicle “ look. It is a little buildable but once building I find that the color is not that flattering anymore.

For some reason the surface of my generation G is really dry and seems to require some hard pressing for any product to get on my lips... does anyone else have this problem?

Does this lipstick cling to any dry patches on the lips? It's difficult to find a lipstick that doesn't do that, especially if it is matte.
