Arguably one of the most famous products in the Glossier lineup is the Cloud Paint. On their website they call it "the most user-friendly blush under the sun". It is marketed as a sheer liquid blush that will give just a tint to the cheeks. There are 8 shades sold on their website and I have "Beam", which is a soft peach. It is actually much more pigmented than I thought it would be, so I definitely went overboard when I applied it for the first time. It is only "just a tint" if you use the tiniest amount possible, otherwise you risk applying way too much! Less is best in this case, which is good because this little tube will probably last years before running out!
The product has a thin liquid consistency, so it is pretty quick and easy to blend in just using your fingers. For a more precise application, I would recommend using a stippling brush. I usually prefer to use this as a base to the powder blush I apply on top, which extends the wear-time. My favorite powder blush to top it off with is "Baddie On The Block" from Kylie Cosmetics, but any powder blush with a similar tone as your Cloud Paint will work too. You could even use a translucent face powder to lock in the product. Without using a powder on top, the Cloud Paint can transfer a little bit, but generally will last most of the day.
I actually really liked these cloud paints. I got two colors Beam and Haze, got them at a bogo sale. Beam is a peachy color and is really beautiful on. These are a gel like consistency and easy to apply. They are very blendable to achieve whatever look you are going for from a just flushed to a more dramatic look. The pigmentation is really good and is long wearing even without setting it with a powder. I dabbed it on then used my brush to apply it being careful not to streak. I love these because they are light and airy and give your cheeks just the right glow. I think they are pricy when there are other blushes out there you can get for more affordable prices that give you a flushed glow.
Dries down to a powdery finish. lasted about 5-6 hours without primer underneath. It does not lift any makeup even though it has a gel-like consistency. Pigmentation builbable, do apply with a gentle hand to avoid streaking. I bought them during the sephora sale after trying them from the sample card. Poppy is a bright cool tone red, may look intimidating but with a light hand, it will give you a very beautiful cool tone flush. And beam is warm undertone peachy color. Swatch below is in color BEAM.
