  • "This is currently my favorite lip balm. It gives a nice pink tint to lips. I wear it whenever I feel that my lips get too dry from using liquid lipsticks. The casing is beautiful as well. It is on the pricier side but for me worth the price. Perfect lipstick when i go for the no makeup look" in 5 reviews
  • "This moisturizing balm not only makes you think you look like you have dollars but it makes your lips look like Kylie Jenners. Holy helzzzz!!! This stuff is sweet!!! It's soooo pretty and makes my lips feel like $1 million!" in 3 reviews

One star off for price, but other than that AMAZING lip balm!
I tried this from the sephora play “beauty edition” box and I’m so mad that I love it because it is pricey! The product offers:
- subtle pink hue
- moisturizing (but not for that long)
- mild plumping (not very noticeable to others, but I did notice a mild change

For reference, I do not get chapped lips but I’ve been using Carmex chapstick forever!! This product won’t replace my Carmex, but is a nice addition for those times when you want to feel luxurious and whip out a givenchy balm, instead of a tacky yellow/red tube of chapstick!

I recently tried this product while getting a mini makeover at Sephora. I don’t really like wearing lip products on a day to day basis but when I do I like dramatic looks. My lips get pretty chap especially since I don’t wear lip products during the work week. Givenchy Le Rouge Perfecto instantly softens my lips. Not only that but I started to see it turn slight soft pink and can be worn on its own. After a while the tingling feeling occurs as it plumps my lips and can be worn as a primer under the dramatic looks I like

I got this as a deluxe sample. It applies sheer but turns a light pink after about a minute on the skin. It is quite thick and smooths the appearance of fine lines. I like it as a prep for drying lipsticks or for a no makeup look

I received a mini version of this lippie in my rouge-exclusive Sephora Play! box and I do really enjoy it. The first time I used it was when my lips were already chapped and I wasn't very impressed - it didn't hydrated my lips so I reapplied which resulted in me having very Barbie neon pink lips, which aside from being a little over the top, was far too cool toned to be flattering. I found that it cannot bring your lips back from the point of being chapped, but if you apply it to hydrated lips it will keep them from becoming chapped. Since that first experience I have used on chapped lips and it really works well as a lip color that won't dry your lips out. The texture is extremely light on the lips and you'll probably forget you are wearing it. As long as I wear a single coat of this lip product it enhances my natural lip color by adding a bit of brightening and pink color - my lips are naturally a very rosy red, but this gives them a bit of life and brightens them up by adding a wash of pink. I haven't noticed any plumping effect from wearing this, but I only wear it while my lips are well hydrated and that is usually the major reason why lip products "plump". It is scented and smells like hand soap from a fancy restaurant, but it doesn’t have any taste. I wish that this product was offered in more shades, like Dior Addict Lipstick Hydra-Gel Core Mirror Shine is and that the packaging was toned down a bit, balm is something you go through relatively quickly and having to pay a premium to have the balm in a heavy metal case with leather is a bit much, I would much rather it be a few dollars cheaper. I haven’t tried Dior’s version but I would be interested to see how they compare in formula and will probably replace this with Dior’s when I run out since it is cheaper and has more shades to pick from. If someone asked me if I like this I would say I do, but I don’t think I would ever recommend it to them because of the price

This balm looks super pretty on the lips, it’s the perfect shade of subtle pink. The packaging is absolutely gorgeous. I’ve noticed that after wearing this my lips feel kind of dry, which is odd since this is supposed to be a lip balm. I’ll use what I have left of it, but because it dries out my lips, it’s just not worth the high price point.

Read great reviews about this so decided to try it. Definitely not worth the money. I like to constantly reapply and it eventually got too pink. It didn’t feel
Moisturizing to me at all. You don’t get a lot of product. The packaging is beautiful but I’d rather pay less for more product and not a real leather case. Their lipstick is usually amazing so I was disappointed.

I fell in love the minute I saw it's pastel pink leather packaging, slim and sleek with a simple yet elegant metal line down the middle. It's on the pricy side, but I thought that the packaging and the product would make it worth it. Was I ever more wrong. The leather feels very luxe but the metal feels light and almost plastic -y, while compared to a lipstick of the same price ($36, YSL lipstick) which has a very weighty and luxe case. The product didn't make up for this failing; it gave my lips a nice pink tint, but no more than 10 minutes after my lips felt more dry and chapped than they had before.

This has become my every day favorite lip gloss/stick/balm.  I love it!  I wasn't too sure of it at first.  It looked awfully light coming from the tube, but once I put it on, it turned into a really nice sheer pink, with a gorgeous gloss.  I have very dry lips, and this lip balm hydrated them better than I expected.  The longevity was really nice, as I didn't reapply as much as I typically do with any other product.  As far as plumping my lips - I think it's more of an optical illusion with the sheer/glossiness.  Of course the leather sleeve is so chic! I wish they offered refills for it, because I do think it is a tad bit pricey.  Givenchy Le Rouge Perfecto Beautifying Lip Balm

This is like rich person lip balm (this and La Mer and Dior). It is most similar to Dior Addict Lip Glow in that it is marketed as a balm that provides a subtle pinkish hue to the lips.

The Givenchy lip balm feels more luxurious and thicker than your standard tinted lip balm. I also appreciate that it is in a tube. It applies easily despite its consistency and slightly plumps while providing your lips with a subtle pink hue. It starts off near clear on my lips and then I think it activates on your lips (it tingles a little bit) and your lips become a little plumper and more tinted in color. Supposedly, it mixed with the PH of your lips to give you a custom color that works for your lips. I find the finished look is a very natural but rosy lips kind of result like there is nothing on your lips and your lips are just naturally flushed.

The longevity of this product on the lips is about the same as any other tinted lip balm and need to be reapplied. I actually do like it for natural days. Your lips just look supple and moisturized with a little color.
