This comes in a multi-pack from my local Sam's Club and they are nifty little items to have on hand. Today, they will be used in a traditional American Green Bean Casserole but they are also perfect when sauteed with onions and peppers to be poured onto steaks or Steak-Um Philly-style hoagie sandwiches. Also, these mushrooms are great out of the can into salads, pasta, rice or used with other vegetables. I think canned mushrooms are ideal for people who have a hard time keeping fresh mushrooms at home all of the time; I know I do. I buy expensive Portobellos or Baby Buttons and they go bad in a few days. For canned vegetables such as these mushrooms, I really do prefer these.
