There’s something oddly comforting about the sting of sanitizer—it bites, but it fades quickly, leaving only the faint memory of contact. Like so many things in my life, Germ-X is both necessary and strangely intimate. I keep the bottle in my bag, right next to the pepper spray Charlie insisted I carry and the dog-eared copy of Wuthering Heights I keep rereading, hoping it’ll feel different this time. The sanitizer is small, unobtrusive. But when I press the pump and the cool gel hits my palms, it’s like a ritual. A cleansing. A moment to pretend I can protect myself from things I can’t see coming.

It's very strong. I don't really like the smell, but I love that it kills 99% of the germs and it is better than most of the other germix brands. I love the fact that it comes in a 28 full ounce bottle and that it's just easier to use and has a nice pump and it's just great overall
