Your baby’s health depends on carefully following the preparation, use, and storage instructions below. Failure to follow these instructions could result in severe harm.
Talk to (OR consult) your baby’s doctor about the appropriate formula for your baby. Powdered infant formulas are not sterile and should not be fed to premature infants or infants who might have immune problems unless directed and supervised by your baby’s doctor.
Always wash your hands and utensils before preparing formula.
Sterilization or boiling of tap or bottled water and sterilization of utensils is recommended. Your doctor will advise if it is not required. If boiling water, bring to a rolling boil for 1 minute and allow to cool to room temperature before preparing formula.
Pour desired amount of water into a clean, empty bottle before adding any formula. Replace cap on water if using bottled water.
Add 1 unpacked level scoop (8.7g) of powder for each 2 fl oz water. (Only use enclosed scoop.)
Cap bottle; SHAKE WELL. Feed baby immediately. Once feeding begins, use contents within 1 hour or discard.
Only if necessary, refrigerate freshly prepared bottle and use contents within 24 hours. Refrigerator temperatures should be maintained between 35-40°F (2-4°C).
Do not use microwave to warm formula. Serious burns may result.
Tightly cover open container and use within 1 month. Store opened and unopened containers in a cool, dry place. Avoid extreme storage conditions.
Warming formula above, or using water warmer than 100°F (38°C), will compromise the probiotic cultures.

Gerber® Good Start® Soothe | Powder Formula Stage 1
I like to keep a container of formula on hand that's specifically for fussiness, just in case our little one is having a rough day. I had heard great things about the probiotics version of this formula, so when I received a rebate check from Gerber for formula I decided to give this one a try. I really like that it has probiotics in is as our baby definitely needs them. He seems to like the formula, but it does seem a little thicker in consistency than his normal Similac formula. I have noticed that he does sometimes spit up a lot more after a feeding with this brand. He does (usually) calm down after a feeding, so it seems to work well. Also, noticed a bit of a constipation issue with this brand. Probably won't purchase again for him though, but would be open to trying it again for our next baby.
I originally planned on solely breastfeeding my daughter, but I wasn't producing enough and had to start supplementing with formula. I tried Similac first because I received free samples from them and after one bottle of Similac she was up all night screaming. I immediately stopped using Similac after that. I tried Gerber next, this is a godsend. I do a 1-1 ratio of breast milk to formula she has never had any issues with this formula. Thank you Gerber!
This is one of the only formulas that helped my baby when I couldn’t produce enough milk. After so months of tying I finally switched to formula and it’s been so helpful for digestion and gas! We spend about $220 on formula and he’s about 5 months old now.
Purchased at: Walmart
Had to stop breastfeeding and my daughter just did not want any formula tried enfamil and similac and she would not drink it she would rather fall asleep and not eat, went out to buy this and right away she drank 4 oz and went to sleep she had bm every day they are a bit of a weird color at first but at least shes not constipated and does not projectile vomit like the other formulas it was easy on her tummy 🙂
I used this with both of my boys. My first son had terrible gas with colic and this is the only thing that gave him relief after trying a few. I loved this brand!
If you have a baby who has gas or spits up I recommend. When I breastfed my daughter had gas and was spitting up even when I ate healthy. I put her on formula and had trouble with many different kinds. My husband got her this to try and it worked miracles!
If I could give this formula 0 stars, I would. I received an $18 coupon from Gerber so I researched and read great reviews for the Soothe, so I figured hey, why not! While using for supplementing, it seemed to work alright. But after getting a really bad case of mastitis and switching to mostly giving my baby formula, she became incredibly constipated and fussy. Once she was finally able to go, it was very thick (like molding clay) and GRAY! I’ve never seen anything like that before, and I felt absolutely terrible. After googling, I found that to be a common issue with babies and this formula. I switched her immediately to store brand Gentle formula, and she’s done great.
My daughter uses this formula and it works great for her! It’s good for colic, excessive crying, fussiness, and gas. She likes this formula, it’s affordable it sometimes it cost more at different stores!
I would never recommend putting a baby on any Gerber products. My son would violently throw up a full 6 oz of his bottle. He then started refusing to eat the bottles at all. He had diarrhea that as soon as he pooped would give him a diaper rash so bad that he would be bleeding. It was the scariest thing I've ever experienced to watch him go through and not be able to do anything because at first we had no idea the formula brand could have been the issue. We tried most if not all of the different types and as soon as we switched off Gerber completely everything slowly started becoming normal again.
