My daughter was on Gerber Good Start from the day she popped out of me till she made the transition to whole milk. Originally she was on the Gentle, but then as she got to be a few months old, we had to start adding in a tiny bit of Karo Syrup into each of her bottles, as she had horrific problems with gas and belly aches. (the syrup completely solved the gas and belly problems, after just a few bottles with it in it) We then changed her to the Soothe because she was ALWAYS spitting up like the exorcist, and we had tried EVERYTHING else other than switching her formula. It helped a tiny little bit with her spitting up, but it really wasn't a whole lotta difference. She was very close to making the switch to primarily solid foods, after she had been using the Soothe long enough to have seen the full difference it would make for. So instead of trying another formula, we opted to wait and see how her spitting up was when she began eating solids primarily. Turned out that the solid foods stayed down in her tummy, as they had consistency to them, where as the formula was all liquid, so it was easier for it to come back up. After she made that switch to solids the spitting up stopped almost completely! Yay!
