Personally I didn't like this product when I used it. The scent is very cloying to me and even though it is a very dark purple I don't think it helped with the brassiness of my hair. Not only did it not help with my brassiness, it made my hair super dry. I think the price is very cheap but I'd rather spend the money on another purple shampoo.

I've had grey hair for the past 7 years now, and I've used this for maybe the past 4! It does work really really well as far as keeping the yellows out of my hair, however, I'm giving it a 3 star because it is VERY drying! I've used parvana purple shampoo and this in my opinion does work better than that.
THE BEST. And BEST VALUE for your buck when it comes to purple shampoo. You get this at sally beauty supply, and it tones out all the yellow brassiness from your hair. Don’t leave it on too long unless you like a purple tint to your hair.
This is a very purple very opaque purple shampoo. Laters great and If your looking for a good toning shampoo this is a cheaper alternative with outstanding results. I have been using this shampoo for years and can’t live without it.

When I had lightened parts of my hair to blonde, I looked to this product to help remove any brassiness. It did a decent job but it dried my poor hair out so bad that I absolutely had to stop using it.
I love this shampoo. I purchased this at Sallys Beauty for $13. It is such a deep blue/purple and shimmery when you pour it out. It keeps the bronze from my hair and leaves it as a nice white/silvery color but this is because I use it 2x a week and leave it in my hair for 15 minutes before washing it out! I have received many compliments on this shampoo since using it.
If you tend to get really yellowish or brassy hair this is a must have. It’s cheaper than any other purple shampoo but still has a very high pigment. I️ have used other products with more pigment that can be more effective, but if you’re hair isn’t completely over processed and can hold the pigment it’s a much better option for a better price. I️ got it from Sally’s for $5.99.
AMAZING!! I've used all kinds of purple shampoo and this one is by far the best for maintaining your blonde. It's also great that it's affordable at sallys. Not only does it keep you super blonde, but it cleans the hair very well. If you have platinum/white hair, it might start to give you a bit of a purple tint. Love love love!!

This stuff is really great if your blonde tends to fade to a copper or ash look. After one use you will see results and your blonde hair will be so much brighter. For a generic shampoo this stuff is awesome

Ok, I am a fan of Clairol, but the best achieved Blonde look would be to use these products:
•L'oreal Quick Blue 2-3 packs
•30 booster (any higher at YOUR own risk)
•PLATINUM/ or CRYSTAL CLEAR hair RINSE (apply to remove orange/ brass from hair)
•Apply a Shimmer Highlight shampoo, or a shampoo meant for GREY hair!
Hope this helped!
