This is actually for the Gelsomino A Freddo Ambrosia version. This is absolutely a unisex fragrance while I would say it’s masculine. It’s not as floral as I had expected, but it is muskier and spicier. I was also surprised to see that it doesn’t have the greatest longevity— shocking really. I would say that while this opens as a bold fragrance, it calms very quickly and it becomes a skin scent after several hours. This does smell expensive to me and probably more suited towards evening and colder months. The bottle is beautiful, with the cap looking like a marble topper.

Hmm… how should I put it? Love at first spray? But that’s really how it was. When I got it and tried it for the first time, the scent was rich and seductive — completely different from any fragrance I’d used before. I just sprayed a little on my wrist, but the scent that blossomed was so intoxicating — not too showy, yet utterly mesmerizing. I noticed that the scent I love most is jasmine. As it settles down, the scent softens, yet lingers beautifully for a long time. I sprayed it on in the morning, and even after hours — spending time in the kitchen cooking and all — it amazed me that by the end of the day, I could still catch traces of the fragrance lingering around me. I’ve never felt such a wild, passionate love for any perfume before — but now I do, and I finally understand what it means.
