Garnier Olia is unlike any other traditional, permanent hair color. Powered by a 60% oil blend formula with natural flower oils, Olia propels colorants deep into the hair, giving you vivid color results and 100% gray coverage. The non-drip formula has no ammonia, so it smells great as you apply, and the oils help to reverse roughness and dullness. The end result? More brilliant, long-lasting color and hair that is hydrated, silky, and up to 3x shinier than uncolored, unwashed hair. What’s in the hair dye kit? A developer tube, a colorant tube, after color conditioner, as well as a set of gloves and the instruction sheet.

Review for: 1.0 - Black more...
Okay so my hair is naturally a very dark brown, I had dyed my hair blonde about a year ago and have cut off most of it. However I still have light tips and some highlights of light brown. I decided to buy black and do an all over color. I always buy Garnier products and end up very happy. I bought this one seeing it was new and reading a few reviews stating that it did a wonderful job of keeping hydrated. So I go to dye my hair, I tested an area kept it for about 5 mins or so and all
Seemed fine. So I finish the rest and about 20 mins into waiting it starts to burn on my roots, not a terrible burn but something uncomfortable. I decide to wash it out and dry. The color was there but no shine. It made my hair dry and hard to work with afterwards. It took about 6/7 washes before it felt somewhat ok. I ended up getting a protein care done and that seemed to help. I’m don’t recommend this at all!!

I used to get my hair colored in the salon, and don't get me wrong! My hairstylist was amazing and did an awesome job (the color she used was Redken Color and bayalage). However, I got tired of how expensive it was and how often I would have to do it (which made it even more expensive!), but more importantly I got tired of the chemicals I was constantly exposing myself to. That's when I decided to go on a hunt for a great color brand that was also ammonia-free...and I found Olia :) Garnier already has a great reputation for awesome hair color products, so that rep paired with an ammonia-free less harsh hair color product was just what I needed! The color is easy to mix and apply. The smell is great (yes, it actually smells good). And the outcome is very close to what the box says - AS LONG AS YOU FOLLOW THE GUIDELINES FOR WHAT TYPE OF COLOR YOU SHOULD USE!! Don't go from dark brown to light blonde...just like what any hair color product recommends. Lastly, the hair conditioner is awesome and makes me hair feel as though it was never colored in the first place. Just a little advice: you may need to leave the blonde colors on slightly longer if you are naturally a darker blonde, as it could have a slight brassy tone to it if you don't. Of course talk to a Garnier pro on their site though first!

I always use garnier for my permanent hair coloring because they add a lot of moisture to my hair and make my curls pop when I wash it out. I bleached the ends of my hair recently and then I used the auburn to blend the middle of my hair to my roots. I like the color that it is in the sun, but it's definitely not the color I expected from the pictures on the box. Since I have dark hair I looked at the before and after pictures and it was supposed to be decently red and it really wasn't, but the package didn't tell meta bleach my hair before coloring either.

I have used this hair color in Dark Brown and it is pretty amazing! Easy to use, even for dummies like myself who can barely do anything right lol. Covers my gray for a good couple of weeks before i have to retouch. I like that the smell isn't strong so I'm not about to pass out as I am coloring my hair and it doesn't irritate my scalp, like some other hairdyes have in the past. I've used this color a few times now and will continue to purchase since it is gentle on my scalp.

Review for: 6.03 - Light Neutral Brown more...
When it comes to pharmacy hair dye brands, Garnier is my favorite. The colors are rich, last long, and my hair doesn’t feel damaged after use. My great piece of advice is to be weary of the type of hair tone you’re getting so you don’t do a disaster. For example, I had very light blonde hair and wanted to go up to light brown. At the time, I didn’t know that because blonde hair doesn’t have red pigmentation, if I put on a natural (ash) brown over it, it would turn brown-green (which is exactly what happened). I was able to fix it by putting a little bit of red hair dye over it (it neutralized the green, so the brown looked natural). Long story short, know your tones and the hair dye will work great.

I tried the Rose Gold from the #complimentaries of #Influenster #Thankyou #Free #trial and absolutely love it! It didn't dry my hair out and actually made it look softer and healthier looking. Loved it didn't have a strong smell to it either! Going to keep getting this brand when I color my hair! #Garnier #hairdye #RoseGold

Love this hair dye! great price, purchased at Walmart! Leaves my hair extra soft & shiny! The color matches mine to the t! i like this brand compared to others due to the non ammonia smell & it does not dry out my hair. I use this every 3-4 weeks to cover my grays! It is 100% gray coverage guaranteed and i agree!

Review for: 4.60 - Dark Intense Auburn more...
Bought at CVS for $10.99. Used on virgin dark brown/ black hair and results were not the best but not the worst. The product, itself, is amazing. Great smell (doesn't smell like normal hair dye) and easy application and instructions. Everything needed to accomplish the task is in the box. Cream is thick and color is very apparent when color is mixed with developer. Unfortunately, dark intense auburn was not meant for normal dark brown/ black hair. The color only stayed on strands that were exposed to sun/damaged by the sun. The color turned out to be more orange/brown than red on my hair. Compared to other hair dyes, this one is semi-effective in coloring dark brown hair. I would definitely recommend this product to those with lighter hair color.

If you never dyed your hair before, I suggest using Olia because it comes with everything: the dye, conditioner and gloves. The instructions are straight forward and so simple to follow. It took 30 minutes to get my green hair black and my hair looks so healthy to after using the conditioner. There’s no harsh chemical scent either which is a major plus!

So I colored my hair a deep red using products from Sally’s but of course I took way too long to hear back to Sally’s to buy the dye and toner. So I bought this on a lim and I am not dissatisfied. The color this gives is soooo rich! And my hair was so soft and smelled soooo amazing.

Has anyone tried this! How's the color payoff? Would love to know, I haven't tried the Olia line. Also does it dry out your hair super bad?
