This air fry microwave is multifunctionality, space-saving design, and ease of use and clean. It’s best suited for smaller households or those who don’t mind working with a slightly less powerful microwave. If you’re looking for a compact, all in one appliance, this is a good option. Air Fry function works well for small portions, like fries, nuggets, and other snacks.

[I received this complementary microwave in exchange for an honest review] I’ll be so honest, initially I HATED this microwave but it’s growing on me. It’s a solid microwave and while it does also have air fry/convection oven functions, it won’t be replacing my stand alone air fryer for logistical safety concerns. For small items that you’d want crispy like say a hot pocket, the air fry/convection accessory is perfect for that. However, you want to use tongs and/or oven mitts because the whole unit gets wildly hot — that’s not something I’ve ever had to really be that cautious about when using traditional microwaves. And unlike most air fryers, the accessory stand isn’t locked so that can be dangerous. In my experience, this is better as a bonus air-fryer when needed rather than a replacement.
All that said, my initial knee jerk reactions were mostly due to overall design issues rather than function. This is the first microwave I’ve ever had without the classic number keypad so I did have a bit of a learning curve with that — especially trying to set the clock (which is constantly a bit behind!). It becomes muscle memory and you do get used to it but I feel omitting the number keypad was a misstep, especially given that this unit has multiple cooking functions. Additionally, this has the shortest microwave cord I’ve ever had by probably a good 3-6inches, and for the first time in my entire life I had to purchase a cord extender. In my opinion, there is simply no reason why arbitrarily shorter microwave cords like this should exist. Also, there is a plastic piece in the back that should be explained with at least a sticker or something! Upon unboxing I had to seek a Reddit post that explained it was to ensure there’s enough space to vent. Makes sense, however without any indication otherwise even in the manual, it seems like just a plastic piece that should be removed. That piece inherently also makes the microwave protrude further out more than previous 900 watt microwaves I’ve had. Lastly, design-wise, that huge white and red label on the front is so unsightly! I wish they had put that on the side for reference so it was a little more hidden.
All in all it’s a decent microwave that does work well but in most cases I can’t honestly see this replacing my air fryer.
