In the reviews, I'm reading that some people say it doesn't work for cats. What specifically doesn't work about it? What better product is out there for cats?

In my experience the product works equally well for cats and dogs. We have 4 cats who use this product and we have never seen a flea or tick on any of them.

Advantage worked better for my cats and seemed to control the flea eggs better.

This absolutely does work for cats. Mine gets a dosage, as recommended, and he has been flea, and tick, free. If you are starting with a flea problem, rugs, furniture, etc. should be taken care of prior to administrating it to animal. It will only work if they are on your pet, so if the fleas are elsewhere, then you will still have a problem.

It worked for my two cats. It took a few months, but I also wasn't cleaning my house like I should have been.
