Does anyone know of any home remedies to get rid of fleas? I heard ground cinnamon (on their coat) helps?

Use the oils of peppermint or cinnamon and it helps keep the fleas away but dawn does kill existing fleas on your pet and is safe for them.

Dawn soap does work but it will not keep them away I have the same problem but put a little dish of dawn soap and water on the floor and but a lamp shinning on the water and the fleas will jump in.
