Out of the two notorious low budget airlines, I’ll go with Spirit over Frontier. Frontier has potential, but they have a lot of work to do. From the last time I flew with them, they do nothing if your flight is cancelled or delayed. You’re just out of luck. Even Spirit handed out some freebies as an apology. I remember when this company got rid of call in customer service during the holiday season one year, one of the busiest travel seasons of the year smh. Seats are hard, even Spirit’s seats are more cushioned. The animal themes on the plane wings and flight attendant uniforms are cute, but that’s about all I have. You can get to where you’re going but it’s a risk. I would recommend using this company for day trips or trips that are about 1-2 hours long where you have a carry on and personal item since they have an issue with losing luggage.
I choose Frontier because tickets are more affordable than other airlines. They also allow military personnel to check in two free checked bags, any size, any weight and a carry on!! It also includes easy security and pre check! My experience has been nothing but good. The flight attendants are always great and helpful. Sometimes it is hard to find a good time for my flights and they do not offer free drinks on the plane.
Affordable prices, convenient times and locations make Frontier Airlines one of my first choices when booking flights for short weekend trips or family vacation.
