Yes, I use it all the time! Green works better than the blue painters tape and does not leave any sticky residue at all BUT if you want to use it to achieve a specific or very geometric pattern you MUST make sure you press down every little bit of the tape or some small areas may have a slight bleed.

Does this work better than the BLUE painters tape? I don't know how many times I have used the BLUE tape and every single time I have an issue!! I think the one thing that irritates me the most is the fact that it's never sticky!! Am I the only one who has this problem? I have so many ideas when it comes to painting my home, but I never do them because the tape issue!!

I found that the frog tape leaves a jelly-like residue on the wall. 3M makes a blue painters tape uses a similar kind of adhesive as frog tape. Edgelok technology, I believe it is. I never had a problem with it leaving a residue, or not sticking. Keep in mind that these tapes are made to peel off easily, and that’s quite possibly why you’re having issues with them not sticking. Burnish the edges of the tape (press them down really hard). If you’re doing a design, it’s a good idea to run a coat of the base colour over the edges of the tape, so that anything that bleeds under will be that base colour.
