I’ve been very lucky with this refrigerator. I bought it for $350 in a scratch and dent section of Lowe’s 9 years ago and it’s still going strong. I only had one issues where a freezer part went out and I was able to get it repaired by a local man for just over $100. I’ve never used the ice maker inside the freezer so I can’t comment on that but this thing is a beast and I’m surprised it’s still going. I love the spacious double doors up on top and it has an alert system if a door is left open too long so you know if it’s not shut all the way. My only issue is that it’s so big, between both apartments and house I’ve lived in with it, it’s never fit in the refrigerator spots most places have so it’s messed with the layout of my kitchens with it mainly being in a weird, in the way location.
