Dogs don't need brushing or toothpaste. they need chew toys but mainly raw bones. go to your local health pet store, not big box stores. look for small stores that sell organic and grain free foods , they should have freezer stock of raw goodies. dogs only get tartar and teeth issues because of the grains in dog food...grains equal sugar and obviously sugar is tooth decay. the natural enzymes in raw bones will take away tartar and freshen their breath. try grain free food, quality kind without by products...champion pet foods, earthborne, taste of the wild is best if you're on a budget. good luck
