If you're stuck in mud or snow, locking your wheels will help you get out of that slippery situation.

Love Ford, both my husband and I have Ford's. Very durable, long lasting, safe vehicles. Best car I've ever had, It has 120,000 mils and worka like new, my Ford Taurus has never given me any problems. Love it

Much easier when in cold weather you need to unlock them. No getting out of your car in the cold to lock or unlock!

It's more convenient when you don't have to get out of the vehicle, and just push the button inside

All 4x4s have locking HUBs, the older 4x4s you had to manually lock and unlock yourself by exiting the vehicle. The new 4x4s have auto locking/unlocking hubs so you just have to hit the button or shift into 4wd.
