These are to help keep your foot from sliding forward when wearing high heels. I purchased them to help when I wore open-toed high heels, but I found them to not stay in place and a little thicker than I would like. The gel material helps to cushion the ball of your foot so I wish they would of worked better than they did.

I like these for the front of my shoe, all my shoes tend to need more cushion in the front so I use these and they definitely are my shoe, boots, etc. more comfortable.
