Follow Your Heart vegan cheese is a great option for grilled cheese sandwiches, and the smoked Gouda is one of my favorite flavors of it. It melts fairly well in a grilled cheese sandwich, and it gives just the right level of gooeyness. 

This cheese really tastes like Gouda with a true smoked flavor. Easily melts for a grilled cheese but also tastes great cold on sandwiches. Excellent snacking cheese as most vegan cheeses don't always taste great cold, this is an exception!

I am in love with this flavor and it goes perfect with my avocado sprout sandwiches, it melts amazing and just like you would expect for any other cow milk cheese. The price is about the same and in some places cheaper than the hard smoked cow cheeses out there. I’ve bought more since and plan to keep this flavor on hand all the time. The Smokey flavor goes perfect with eggs over easy too.
